This short document forms the agreement between you and us when you use Kuzi. By downloading and using Kuzi you are taken to accept these terms; we've kept the text plain so it's comfortable to read.

Scope of the service

Kuzi helps you organise your skincare routine, track your products, receive reminders, keep a skin diary, follow your period and cycle, and learn from content. Some or all of Kuzi's features may require a paid subscription (Kuzi Premium); details are in the Subscriptions and paid features section below.

Kuzi is not medical advice. Neither Alonzo Digital Ltd nor the Kuzi team includes a dermatologist, doctor or any other medical or skin health professional. For anything concerning your skin health or any health problem, please consult a professional. What Kuzi shows you is general care guidance; it does not replace personal medical diagnosis or treatment.

Period/cycle tracking is not a medical or contraceptive tool. The Calendar feature helps you record your period and cycle and see estimated days; however these predictions are statistical estimates and cannot be used for contraception, pregnancy planning, fertility tracking or any medical decision. If you have an irregular cycle, a delay, severe pain or any other health symptom, consult a doctor.

AI-assisted content

Some of the content Kuzi shows you inside the app — the daily quote / motivation line, weather-based routine comments, product reminder cards (such as expiring or forgotten products), skin diary comparison comments and improvement insights, cycle-skin insights, and product and routine suggestions — is produced by automated or AI-assisted systems. You will usually see an information (i) button next to this content; tapping it shows you the same warning inside the app.

What you need to know about this content:

  • AI can make mistakes. Comments, suggestions and insights may be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Treat what you see here as guidance that gives you ideas, not as definitive information.
  • We are not dermatologists. The Kuzi team does not include a licensed doctor, dermatologist or skin health professional. Kuzi's suggestions do not replace a professional opinion.
  • It is not medical advice. Do not make decisions based on Kuzi's comments where skin problems, suspected allergic reactions, product interactions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a chronic skin condition (acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis and so on) or prescription products are involved — consult a dermatologist or an appropriate professional.
  • Responsibility is yours. You are responsible for the consequences of buying and using a product, changing your routine, or delaying consulting a professional on the basis of a suggestion, comment or reminder you saw in Kuzi. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alonzo Digital Ltd cannot be held liable for damages arising from such decisions or from the accuracy or suitability of this content.
  • It does not make personal diagnoses. Kuzi does not diagnose based on the photos, scores or records you upload; it produces statistical and algorithmic comments.

The scope of AI-generated content may change over time; we will update this document for significant changes.

Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kuzi. If you are younger, please use it together with your family and do not open an account.

Your account

  • You open your account for personal use only; not on behalf of a company or another person.
  • When you sign in with Apple or Google, that provider's own terms also apply.
  • Account security (your device passcode, the security of your provider account) is your responsibility.
  • You can delete your account at any time from within the app or through [email protected].

Acceptable use

When using Kuzi you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer the app, attempt to extract its source code, or overload it with automated systems.
  • Upload someone else's photo, identity or personal data without their permission.
  • Upload content that breaks the law, infringes third-party rights or offends public decency.
  • Use Kuzi for an unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others.

We reserve the right to suspend or close your account when we believe one of these terms has been breached.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Kuzi, such as skin diary photos, product notes and period/cycle records. Kuzi stores and processes this content only to provide the service to you. We process special category health data such as period and cycle data only with your explicit consent. We do not share it with third parties without your explicit consent and we do not use it in marketing materials. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Licence

As long as you comply with these terms, Alonzo Digital Ltd grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not include the right to copy the app, create derivative works, sell it or redistribute it.

Third-party services

Kuzi works with a number of third-party providers for functions such as authentication, cloud infrastructure and weather. The list of these providers and the purposes they serve are set out in the Privacy Policy; those providers' own terms and privacy policies apply. Kuzi is not responsible for their service or its availability.

App Store and Google Play rules

When you download Kuzi from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's user agreement also applies. Where there is a conflict, the store's rules prevail.

Subscriptions and paid features

Kuzi offers a paid subscription (Kuzi Premium). Access to some or all of Kuzi's features may require a subscription. Which features are free and which are unlocked by subscription, the free trial period if any, and the subscription plans offered may change from time to time — we may update these without giving separate advance notice.

Current prices, the subscription period (for example weekly, monthly, yearly), the trial period if any, and cancellation terms are always shown up to date on the purchase screen and on the App Store / Google Play; what binds us is the terms you see there at the moment of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase; the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it. Managing your subscription, turning off renewal and refund requests are handled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Kuzi does not see or store payment or card details.

Disclaimer of warranties

Kuzi is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that Kuzi will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be fit for a particular purpose.

Nor do we warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of the AI-assisted comments, suggestions, skin analyses and insights Kuzi shows, or their suitability for your particular skin or health condition. These outputs may contain errors; use them as general guidance rather than definitive information, and always consult a professional for decisions of a medical nature.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alonzo Digital Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental or special damages, or for loss of profit, reputation or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for Kuzi in the last 12 months; if you have paid us nothing, that amount will not exceed £100.

Liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, are not affected by this clause.

Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time and remove Kuzi from your device.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or close your account when you breach these terms or where the law requires it.
  • On termination your licence ends; however, certain clauses survive by their nature (such as limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When there is a significant change, we will tell you inside the app. Continuing to use Kuzi after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. In the event of a dispute, the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Mandatory rights given to you by the consumer law of the country where you live are not affected by this clause.
